The revenue from operations were also higher at Rs 212.72 crore for the period under review compared to Rs 197.16 crore in the same period of FY16, the company said in a statement.
Lower material and finance costs fueled the profitability of the company.
The company has four manufacturing units in Kolkata, Tirupur (TN), Delhi and Ludhiana and enjoys a 15 per cent market share in the branded hosiery segment in India.
Its existing export markets are in the Gulf, the Middle East and Nepal, the statement added.
