Domestic help found dead outside employer's house

A 19-year-old woman from Assam who worked as a domestic help was found dead under mysterious circumstances outside her employer's house in east Delhi's Anand Vihar today.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman identified as Kajal, had accidentally fallen from the fourth floor of the building.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of a foul play and are waiting for the autopsy report to confirm if it was an accident, suicide or murder. A forensic team inspected the spot and collected evidences.
"The incident came to light around 6.45 am when neighbours found the woman lying in a pool of blood outside the house of her employer gasping for breath. They raised an alarm and rushed her to the Hedgewar hospital where she died during treatment. A probe into the incident has been initiated," said a senior police officer.

"Her employer's family is clueless about how she died. We are trying to collect CCTV footage from the area to establish the exact sequence of events that led to her death," the officer said.
No suicide note was recovered from the woman's possession. Her family members in Assam have been informed, the officer added.
