Campaigning for BJP ahead of Delhi Assembly polls, Union Minister Sushma Swaraj today asked Delhiites not to make the mistakes made in the last Assembly elections and vote for BJP for a stable government.
"This election is only happening because last year, there were some mistakes made by the voters (of voting AAP). I am happy that people have realised their mistake," she said addressing a rally at Malka Ganj near Timarpur here.
Praising BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, Swaraj said she had an image of a strong administrator and will efficiently be able to deal with the issue of women safety which is a major issue in the national capital. "I hope she will be able to deal with them strictly.
The External Affairs Minister said that India was mainly facing two problems -- unemployment and poverty -- and the BJP government was working towards eradicating them.
"To counter unemployment, we have launched 'Make in India' campaign under which foreign companies will not only set up factories making it a manufacturing hub but will also provide skill development programmes to local youth.
"To tackle poverty, we have launched Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) under which each and every household which has never been to a bank can open a zero balance account," she said.
