Family sources said that Dona Ganguly was going to bring her daughter from school in a Mercedes Benz when the accident took place on James Long Sarani.
"A loaded truck suddenly rushed from behind and hit the car from behind," the sources said.
"Ganguly escaped unhurt. She did not suffer any injury. But the car is damaged," the sources said adding that a case has been filed with the Thakurpukur police station.
