Half the Windies side was back in the hut by the 19th over with only 59 on the board, with Schutt claiming the first two wickets of opener Juliana Nero and one-down Shemaine Campbelle. Schutt finished with 3 for 50 in her 10 overs by adding to her wickets tally, but her figures were spoilt by Dottin who carted her for two fours in successive balls as soon as she came in for her second spell. Ferling accounted for the wickets of Mclean, Kyshona Knight and Stefanie Taylor. Dottin, who struck the rampaging Ferling for successive fours soon after coming on to bat, featured in a 27-run stand for the sixth wicket with captain Aguilleira. It was mainly due to Dottin's enterprising knock that the West Indies managed to sail past the 100-mark before the 30th over. For Australia, Schutt and Ferling were the chief wreckers with figures of three for 50 and three for 27 respectively.
