Last week, Punjab police arrested over 300 TLP activists during clashes with them.
Holding placards and clubs the TLP protesters were demanding the release of their fellow activists in Gujrat, some 150-km from Lahore.
They blocked the GT road for traffic. Police contingent used baton to disperse them and arrested 50 or so protesters.
"We have taken 50 TLP activists for blocking the road for traffic and registered a case against some 100 - 20 nominated and 80 unidentified people - for blocking the road and other charges," Gujrat Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa told reporters.

has been protesting against federal and provincial law ministers Zahid Hamid and Rana Sanaullah, respectively, for their alleged 'soft corner' for the Ahmadi minority community.
The protesters are demanding their resignations.
The TLP activists had also blocked the main road connecting Rawalpindi city with Islamabad for the last one week. The PML-N government, however, refrained from using force to disperse them from there.
TLP chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi said his party workers will not call off their sit-in till the government sacks the federal law minister for making changes in the election nomination papers form regarding the finality of the Prophet.
