Dr VK Saraswat to be chief guest for RSS Vijayadashmi Utsav

Former DRDO Chairman and NITI Aayog member Dr Vijay Kumar Saraswat will be the chief guest for the customary Vijayadashmi Utsav organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) here tomorrow.
RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat will be the main speaker at the annual Dussehra event, scheduled to be held on the sprawling Reshmibag grounds in the South-Eastern part of the city.
Bhagwat will address the swayamsevaks and spell out the outfit's agenda for the year.
Union Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and a host of dignitaries from different walks of life are expected to attend the Vijayadashmi Utsav, a release from Vishwa Samwad Kendra said here.

Saraswat has more than four decades of experience spanning several fields and areas of both basic and applied sciences in defence research. He was a close associate of the late President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
