The 37-year-old actress gave birth to daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman in September and says she was so nervous about motherhood, she struggled to sleep for weeks after the birth, reported People magazine.
Posing with her daughter in her Los Angeles home, the star opened up about how she is coping with parenthood.
"I couldn't eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous," she said.
Barrymore is adamant she and Kopelman will ensure Olive has a more stable upbringing than her own troubled childhood.
"I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid. Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family. It just makes me so emotional because it's like a miracle," she added.
