The deputy chief minister said government is making all efforts to bring Amritsar on the international tourism map and projects worth Rs 2,951 crore have been approved for revamping infrastructure in the holy city and its periphery towns.

He said the government has sought services of an international town planner for drawing city's urban development blue print keeping its cultural and religious heritage intact. MORE
