Driver held after fleeing with a consignment

A truck driver, who fled with a consignment of electronic appliances of a Nodia-based company last week, was arrested here, police said today.
On May 28, truck driver Rajbir singh fled away with 69 washing machines and air conditioners which was to be dispatched to Meerut, Senior Superintendent of Police K S Emanual said.
He was nabbed yesterday and 45 Washing machines and air conditioners were recovered from him and the rest were sold by him by installing the stall of the same company in Kaila Bhatta area, he said.
