The Delhi Commercial Driver Union today requested Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to allow plying of diesel cars in the national capital.
In a letter to Kejriwal, union president Kamaljeet Singh requested that diesel cars be allowed to ply in the national capital as long their permits are valid.
"We are driving commercial cars for several years. Due to ban on commercial cars, we have been facing difficulties. We request you to give relief by allowing us to drive our diesel cars till we have validity of our vehicle permits," he said.
