DRL's Center for Disease Biology to focus on diabetes in India

Union Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences S Jaipal Reddy today inaugurated the Center for Disease Biology at Dr Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences here.
The research centre would focus on diabetes and related issues in India, a press release from Dr Reddy's Laboratory said.
"According to the Diabetes Atlas published by the International Diabetes Federation, it is estimated that every fifth person with diabetes will be an Indian resulting in huge health and economic burden," it said.
