DRM between Indian officials and Games Organisers tomorrow

The Delegates Registration Meeting of Indian officials with the Asian Games organisers will take place tomorrow after it could not be held on Monday due to delay in the naming of the country's contingent for the multi-sporting event.
Incheon organisers have informed the Indian Olympic Association that the meeting can be held either tomorrow or on Saturday. The Games Village opens on Saturday.
"IOA has been told by the local organisers in Incheon that the DRM can be held either tomorrow or the day after," IOA Joint Secretary Rakesh Gupta, who is leaving with two staff officials for Incheon tonight, said.

"We are reaching at Incheon around afternoon at their local time and if it is possible, we will have the meeting tomorrow. Otherwise, we will have the meeting on Saturday. There is no issue on that," he said.
The Chef-de-Mission of Indian contingent, Athletics Federation of India President Adille Sumariwala will leave for Incheon on Saturday.
The government on Monday cleared a drastically pruned-down 679-member Indian contingent, including 516 athletes, for the September 19 to October 4 Games after a long wait. That led to India missing out on the crucial DRM scheduled that day itself.
Without the DRM, the accreditations of the Indian contingent will not be validated and no athlete will be able to enter the Games Village. The IOA has requested the Incheon Games organisers to re-schedule the DRM.
