500 gms of brown sugar recovered from his possession in Assam's Morigaon district today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police picked up the dealer from Tatikata village under Moirabari police station and seized the contraband from his possession.
The dealer has been identified as Zakir Hussain.
He had cases of trafficking contraband from Dimapur in Nagaland pending against him.
