"The drug promotes growth of crops four times and fights all types of germs, virus and fungus. The drug has received a US patent," Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra (GVAK) chief co-ordinator Sunil Mansinghka told PTI, on the sidelines of a conference here.
The drug, 'Kamdhenu Kitniyantrak', is a synergistic composition comprising cow urine, neem and garlic, individually or in various combinations. It also enhances immunity of the plants.
The drug is a soil health enhancer, which will help farmers move from chemical farming to non-chemical farming, the official said.
It can be manufactured at homes in villages, thereby helping in rural transformation and employment generation, he said.

The drug has been developed by GVAK in collaboration with National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), a Lucknow-based laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
Apart from this patent, the Nagpur-based GVAK has received five more patents for developing an anti-cancer drug, extracted from cow urine for its anti-genotoxicity properties.
GVAK's drug 'Kamdhenu Ark' had previously got the US patent as a bio-enhancer with antibiotics and anti-cancer drugs.
Established in 1996, GVAK is a registered research and development institution working on role of cow and its progeny in betterment of human life.
