Acting on specific information, BSF personnel conducted an operation on the Mizoram-Myanmar Road and intercepted a car from where they recovered 25 packets of polythene bags, containing 3,25,000 tablets of Pseudoephedrine, which were hidden under the seat of the car, official sources said.
The two persons apprehended by the security personnel have been identified as Laldinthara and C Lalmachhuara who were later handed over to the police station.
The seized substance was meant to be sent to Myanmar via Mizoram, sources said.
On March 15, they seized 663 kg of Pseudoephedrine substance worth Rs 16 crore 65 lacs on NH-54 and again on April 10, Pseudoephedrine tablets worth Rs 1.90 crore was seized.
