"The action came following a drive against drunken driving between December 1 and January 25 across the state, Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh told reporters.
As many as 20 drunken driving cases were reported from Gwalior district, followed by 16 in Indore, the minister said.
Eight cases were reported in Jabalpur, seven each in Alirajpur and Dewas, six in Jhabua, four each in Khargone and Ujjain, three each Mandsaur, two each in Rewa, Seoni, Agar, Narsinghppur and Barwani and one each in Singrauli, Bhind, Hoshangabad and Guna districts, he added.
