Dry weather in HP; hailstorm prediction for tomorrow
Press Trust of India Shimla Weather remained dry in Himachal Pradesh for the second day today even as the MeT Department predicted hailstorm in some areas tomorrow and rains and snow at several places from February 25 onwards.
It was a clear sky in morning but as the day progressed overcast conditions prevailed.
There was no significant change in day temperatures which rose by three to five degrees yesterday and Una was the hottest in the region with a high of 27.5 degrees Celsius.
Sundernagar, Solan and Nahan recorded their maximums at 25.8, 25.5 and 25.1 degrees Celsius, respectively, followed by Bhunter 23.0, Dharamsala 21.8, Shimla 20.5, Manali 18.8 and Kalpa 11.0 degrees Celsius.
Keylong was the coldest in the region with the minimum temperature at minus 6.2 degrees Celsius while Kalpa recorded a minimum of minus 2.6, followed by Manali 2.0, Bhuntar 7.2, Una 8.0, Sundernagar 8.2, Dharamsala 10.2, Palampur 12.0, Shimla 14.2 and Nahan 15.1 degrees Celsius.
