The sky remained partially overcast but there were no rains and maximum day temperatures rose by one to two degrees, they added.
The MeT office has predicted dry weather in the higher hills over next six days and, rains and thundershowers at a few places in the lower and the mid hills from October 2 to October 5.
Una was the hottest at 33 degree Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 32, Sundernagar 31, Solan 29.5, Nahan 27.9, Dharamshala 26.8, Shimla 23.7 and Kalpa 23.0.
The monsoon rains deficit from June 1 to September 19 remained at 26 per cent. Shimla and Kullu received 8 per cent and 3 per cent received excess rains.
Deficit rain was recorded at 78 per cent in Lahaul and Spiti, 57 per cent in Chamba , 56 per cent in Kinnaur and 33 per cent in Sirmaur districts.
