The qualifying for the men's, ladies and Under-18 boys and girls categories will take place on October 6 and 7 followed by the main round from October 8 to 13.
The qualifying draw is restricted to 64 in all the categories except the junior girls (U-18, U-16 and U-14), in which the qualifying draw is restricted to 32 as per the rules intimated by the All India Tennis Association.
The champion in the men's section will pocket Rs 1.50 lakh, while the winner in the women's category will get Rs 1 lakh. This is the highest prize money meet in the domestic circuit.
The tournament is a part of DSCL's corporate policy of promoting sports in order to provide sporting talent with a platform from which they can move on to achieve bigger and better opportunities for themselves and for the nation.
