Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai, who was present on the occasion, along with AAP MLAs and other senior officials, said, "Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is committed to provide reliable and efficient bus service to its commuters."
He said more buses are being added to the DTC fleet and there will be no scarcity of buses for Delhi'ites.
The minister said that his government has been "striving to provide world-class infrastructure in the city".
Rai said that with the inauguration of this bus terminal, which was inaugurated by a rickshaw-puller, approximately five lakh residents of the area would be benefited.

Rai said the officials have been asked to make necessary arrangements to provide requisite facilities for the convenience of the commuters inside the terminals as well.
A press statement issued by Delhi Government also said "Route no.254 operates between Babarpur and Kamruddin Nagar and this route is being operated with 25 buses. This route has the frequency of 10 minutes.
"Route no.274 operates between Babarpur and Abul Fazal Enclave (Okhla Extension) with 6 buses. This route is being operated with the frequency of 30 minutes. Route no.213A operates between Babarpur and New Delhi Railway station with 3 buses. This route is being operated with the frequency of 30 minutes."
