Three police personnel have been suspended for alleged "unprofessional and inappropriate" behaviour in handling the clashes between ABVP and AISA members at Delhi University's North Campus.
The three personnel - two head constables and one constable - were suspended after senior officials collected few videos that showed their "unprofessional" behaviour.
"There were certain allegations on the part of police officers for their inappropriate and unprofessional act. The senior officers of North district, including the DCP, inspector and all, made all out efforts and have identified three policemen, who have allegedly behaved inappropriately.
"These three officials have been placed under suspension and further inquiry is underway," said Dependra Pathak, special commissioner of police (southwest) and Delhi Police spokesperson.
