The last date to file nomination papers is October 12 and the final list of candidates will be released a day later.
"There shall be election of 11 members for the executive committee of the union as per the DUSU Constitution. Not less than two out of these 11 members will be girl," an official statement said.
Earlier this week, the varsity had appointed a team of officials for conducting the elections.
The central panel of the DUSU members was elected last month, when BJP's student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) had bagged the four-crucial posts of president, vice-president, secretary and and joint secretary for second consecutive year.
