Ducati launches XDiavel cruiser in India at Rs 15.87 lakh

Italian superbike maker Ducati today launched its cruiser bike XDiavel priced at Rs 15.87 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
"Cruisers are the largest segment in the luxury motorcycle category in India. We wanted to enter this segment with a product that revolutionises the cruiser concept," Ducati India Managing Director Ravi Avalur said.
The XDiavel achieves that with its futuristic styling, technology and an engine that has been meticulously designed to the very last detail, he added.
"Our dealers have been overwhelmed with pre-bookings and we're confident that the XDiavel will be the cruiser-of -choice for connoisseurs across the country," Avalur said.
The bike comes with the new Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 engine which produces a maximum power of 156 HP and drives through a 6-speed gearbox.

Another variant of the the bike XDiavel S will be available at 18.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Currently Ducati India sells 11 models in the country, priced between Rs 6.8 lakh and Rs 55 lakh.
