Addressing a gathering at Chatak village of the block, Governor Droupadi Murmu stressed upon cleanliness for a healthy life and said everyone should come forward with collective responsibility.
To make the people aware of cleanliness, she said voluntary organisations, anganwadi workers and panchayat representatives have to discharge their active role.
Stating that Jharkhand has moved a step ahead in the way of making India a country of smart villages initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Governor praised the work of the state government, especially drinking water and sanitation department, district administration of panchayat representatives for making Dulmi the first ODF block.
