The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested one Shiva Suri (22) and his associate Avdesh (27), who are wanted in several criminal cases, including that of robbery and extortion.
Two pistols and seven cartridges were recovered from the duo, who were arrested yesterday in Rohini.
On March 11, one Bijender and his associate Ghanshyam alias Ashu were shot dead on the roof of Suri's house in the Bindapur area, police said. An altercation between Bijender and Suri is said to have led to the killings.
During interrogation, Suri told police that he was accused along with Bijender in two cases lodged in 2012 in the national capital.

"Suri had made a plan to eliminate Bijender as he had been demanding money that he (Suri) had made through extortion and property dealings done in his name. Suri was released on bail in two cases in October, 2013, while Bijender came out of jail about two months later," said a senior police official.
He called Bijender and Ashu to his house on March 11. "At Suri's house... After a small discussion, a heated argument broke out between him and Bijender and Ghanshyam.
"Bijender and Ghanshyam were shot dead by Suri and his associates, namely Nitin, Avdesh and Pradeep Rana. More than 10 rounds were fired in the incident," the official said.
