Duststorms likely, mercury to settle below 40 degrees

It was sunny morning with minimum temperature settling at 25.8 degree Celsius, two notches below normal for this time of the season.
According to MeT department, humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM this morning was 53 degree Celsius.
An official of the department said that no rain is expected today, but dust storms may occur in some areas of the national capital.
"Maximum temperature is expected to settle at 39 degree Celsius. There is no rain expected in next one or two days. Dust storm may occur in different parts of the city today," the official also said.
The maximum temperature yesterday settled a notch below the season's average at 38.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, two points below normal.
