Dwayne Johnson receives Hero Award, honours American troops

WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson was recently honoured with the Hero Award at the 2015 Guys' Choice Awards.
The "San Andreas" actor went emotional after receiving the awards and paid tribute to American troops, reported Aceshowbiz.
The 43-year-old actor said his career was only possible "because we live in a country where we are free, and we get to celebrate this freedom."
He later invited US troops to join him on the stage. "This is a moment. This is a moment right now. I want to thank you so much for everything that you do," the "Furious 7" actor told the troops.
During his acceptance speech the "Hercules" actor also announced the production of epic variety show titled, "Rock the Troops" for which his production company, 7 Bucks Productions, will collaborate with SPIKE.
The show intends to entertain U.S. Troops who are stationed overseas.
