"Law will take its own course but we stand like a rock behind Nitu Sarkar," Majumdar told reporters here today.
Meanwhile, police officials maintained a tight vigil at the club tent since morning as Sarkar was produced at the Alipore court today.
Sarkar had allegedly taken money from Sudipta Sen to bail him out of the chitfund muddle.
CBI sources said Sarkar was allegedly convinced the Saradha group CMD into believing that he could help him with his connections in the government regulatory body like SEBI.
