The committee, which met in Goa on April 19, gave a hearing to Swapan Bal (manager, East Bengal) who represented Tolgay Ozbey, Senior Supervisor of Sports Authority of Goa Raju Adpaikar and Alberto Colaco, General Secretary, Goa Football Association, before giving its verdict on April 20.
The Australian striker had allegedly assaulted ground supervisor Raju Adpaikar during a scheduled training session four months ago at Fatorda.
East Bengal had claimed that their players were manhandled during a training session prior to the team's match against Sporting Clube de Goa, but the Disciplinary Committee, chaired by N A Khan, felt no sanctions were needed to be imposed either on Goa Football Association or the host club.
Tolgay was reported to be furious with the ground supervisor after he got into an argument with East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan. PTI MCS ABC AH
