People across the state celebrated Easter Sunday, signifying Christ's victory over death after his crucifixion to redeem the world.
Sunrise services were organised by the youth wings of both the Presbyterian and the Baptist Churches in their respective local churches.
Special prayers and worship were also held the whole day with Catholic church members breaking their fast since the day of crucifixion on Good Friday.
Preachers of different churches preached sermons on the resurrection of Christ.
