Edible and non-edibles drop on lower demand

Groundnut oil prices fell at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to lower demand from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein prices also moved down on reduced retail buying.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial eased further owing to subdued offtake from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil remained stable in the absence of any major buying from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 930 from Monday's closing level of Rs 940 and refined palmolein edged down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 525 as against to Rs 528, previously.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold slipped by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,050 from overnight closing level of Rs 3,075 and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 640 as compared to Rs 645 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 840 per 10 kg.
