Edible, non-edible oils gain on good demand

Groundnutoil prices moved up at the oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed demand from stockists and retailers amid festive offtake.
While, refined palmolein firmed up owing to sustained retail buying on the back of bullish Malaysian cues.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also recovered following modest demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Meanwhile, linseed oil maintained its steady trend in the absence of any worth-while buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
In the edible section, groundnutoil rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 755 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 750 and refined palmolein advanced by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 615 from Rs 612.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold gained by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,975 from overnight close of Rs 3,950 and castoroil commercial added by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 825 from Rs 820 previously. Linseedoil were unaltered at Rs 835 per 10 kg.
