Edible oil recovers on renewed demand

Groundnut oil prices recovered moderately at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also edged up on mild retail offtake.
In the non-edible section, linseed oil firmed up on good demand from paint and allied industries.
While, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial continued to ease due to sluggish demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 945 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 9,940 and refined palmolein inched up by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 511.

Moving to non-edible segment, linseed oil gained Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 785 from previous closing level of Rs 780.
Castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,975 from Rs 4,000 and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 825 as compared to Rs 830 last weekend.
