Groundnutoil slumped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds market owing to subdued demand from stockists and retailers on the back of ample supply positions.
Refined palmolein also fell due to lack of retail buying support amid bearish Malaysian cues.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil held stable in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable today.
In the edible section, groundnutoil dropped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 820 from Friday's closing level of Rs 830 and refined palmolein declined by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 585 as against Rs 590 previously.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,250, Rs 880 and Rs 825 respectively.
