Edible oils decline on poor offtake

Groundnutoil prices declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on poor demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also slipped owing to lower demand from retail buying.
While, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible section, groundnutoil slid by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,280 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,290 and linseedoil edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 572 from Rs 574.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,750 per 100 kg, Rs 780 per 10 kg and Rs 1,050 per 10 kg, respectively.
