Edible oils end mixed

Groundnutoil prices rebounded in an otherwise lacklusture Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed offtake from retail consumers amid poor arrivals from key growing regions.
Refined palmolein, however remained weak owing to sluggish demand coupled with lower Malaysian cues.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of necessary buying support.
In the edible section, groundnutoil rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 760 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 755, while refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 590 as against Rs 592 previously.

Turning to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unaltered at Rs 3,950 per 100 kg, 820 per 10 kg and Rs 760 per 10 kg, respectively.
