However, non-edible oils held steady in scattered deals from consuming industries.
Traders said the fall in select edible oil prices was due to stockists selling against subdued demand at prevailing levels.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,400 and Rs 7,300 per quintal, respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also lost Rs 100 each at Rs 7,500 and Rs 7,300 per quintal, respectively.
