Marketmen said fall in demand against increased supplies mainly led to decline in edible oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils were down by Rs 100 each at Rs 8,600 and Rs 7,000 per quintal, respectively.

Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean Degum (Kandla) also fell by Rs 100 each at Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,200 per quintal, respectively.
Palmolein (RBD) also shed Rs 50 to close at Rs 5,450 per quintal.
However, crude palm oil (ex-kandla) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 4,200 per quintal.
