In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial declined owing to reduced offtake by shippers and soap industries.
Linseed maintained a stable trend in the absence of any market-moving factors.
In futures trade, castorseeds moved up marginally on stray export demand.
In the edible section, refined palmolein slumped by Rs 14 per 10 kg to Rs 628 from Monday's closing level of Rs 642 and groundnutoil slipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,160 as against Rs 1,170.
Turning to non-edible, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 25 perr 100 kg to 3,200 from overnight close of Rs 3,225 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to 670 from Rs 675 previously. Linseed oil were unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
Moving to futures, castorseed for June contract resumed higher at Rs 3,230, but later fell back to Rs 3,205 before settling at Rs 3,218, as compared to Rs 3,216 yesterday, showing a nominal gain of Rs 2 per tonne.
