Edu director's meets yield results

Issues like pending sanctions, shortage of funds are being resolved in a time-bound manner after the Director of Education conducted visits to schools across Delhi.
Director of Education, Padmini Singla, during visits to schools in the national capital region, has stressed on resolving issues in a time-bound manner in order to strengthen the education system and provide better infrastructural facilities, a statement by the Education department said.
Pending sanctions have been granted with immediate effect, issues like shortage of funds, surplus staff and repairs of schools addressed, the statement said.
Singla discussed problems with 467 Principals of various schools in six districts of the city-state during her visits.
Principals, Vice-Principals, senior officials and branch in-charges of district in the education department attended the meetings which were held in one school of each district, the statement said.
