Efforts on in Assam to set up Skill Development Mission

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said efforts were on to set up Assam Skill Development Mission.
"Efforts are on to set up Assam Skill Development Mission for convergence of all skilled development programs towards ensuring a Skilled Assam", he said.
He exhorted the media and civil society to present positive facts so that Assam gets known for the right reasons.
"Welcoming constructive criticism, I urge the media and civil society to present positive facts so that Assam gets known for the right reasons", tweeted Gogoi.
"The youth today is not interested in bandhs and blockades. They want jobs and growth. We must ensure realization of their dreams", Gogoi said.

"Government will soon set up a high level Knowledge Commission and State Education Commission for overall educational development", the Chief Minister continued.
"Smart Cities can develop only through Smart Villages. We will soon set up Rural Planning and Development Authority to develop Smart Villages", Gogoi added.
