Al-Sisi's comments came during his meeting with the French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, according to the presidential spokesman Ihab Badawy.
In the meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral military co-operation and the Islamic State (IS) threats as well as other regional issues of Syria and Libya, MENA reported.
Le Drian, who also met his Egyptian counterpart Sedki Sobhi, confirmed that his country keeps providing Egypt with the military shipments especially armored vehicles.
Le Drian also said surveillance flights that France had sent to Iraq aims to ascertain how big the growing danger of the Islamic State is.
He noted that the operation also aims to contain the threat of terrorism through deploying 3,000 troops to enhance military capability in the Sahel region of Africa.
Le Drian arrived last night in Cairo after a visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he visited Al-Dhafra Airbase to discuss international efforts to combat IS.
