Eicher Motors March qtr profit rises 71% to Rs 334 cr

Eicher Motors today reported a 71.29 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 334.5 crore for March quarter on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 195.28 crore during the same period last fiscal.
Net sales surged 46.15 per cent to Rs 3,702.01 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 2,532.97 crore in the year-ago period, Eicher Motors said in a BSE filing.
Eicher Motors shares were trading 0.74 per cent down at Rs 19,601.25 in the pre-close session on BSE.
