Eid celebrated with traditional fervour in Pb, Har

Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated by people in the twin states with traditional fervour and gaiety underlining the spirit of harmony that the festival symbolises.
People across Punjab, Haryana and capital Chandigarh flocked to the mosques and offered prayers marking culmination of the holy month of Ramzan.
On the festive occasion, people greeted each other and visited friends and relatives.
The occasion was observed with fervour and grace in Panipat, Ambala, Gurgaon, Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Malerkotla and Jalandhar also.
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and other leaders greeted people from the community, saying that the festival symbolises brotherhood, compassion and also reflects the true spirit of our composite culture.
