The Chennai-based sugar manufacturer had registered a net loss of Rs 138.18 crore, during same period of previous year, a company statement said.
Total income for April-June quarter went up to Rs 581.37 crore, from Rs 498.71 crore registered during the year ago period.
The company said the process of merging Parrys Sugar Industries, a subsidiary of the company, with EID-Parry is "under progress".
Stock of the company ended at Rs 258, a fall of 0.62 per cent on BSE from the previous close.
