The arrested have been identified as Ravinder Yadav, Pradeep Toppo, Vimal Kerketta and Babita, all residents of Shakurpur.
"There was a tip-off from an NGO Shakti Vahini and we raided four placement agencies Babita Enterprises, India Maid Bureau, Deepika Placement Agency and Mission Welfare Society.
"They were involved in trafficking of the minor girls from Assam, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh," Sanjay Kumar Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.
Out of these rescued girls, four belong to Assam, one from Chhattisgarh and three from Jharkhand.
"The girls were terrified and have disclosed that these placement agencies have employed them as domestic helps in various localities of Delhi. Now they wanted to go home, but they (agencies) have detained them and withheld their earnings," he said.
After their medical examination, the girls have been sent to Children Home for the girls at Nirmal Chhaya in Hari Nagar.
