Eight tourists injured as cab turns turtle in south Kashmir

Eight tourists were injured when their cab turned turtle in the famous hill resort of Pahalgam in Anantnag district of south Kashmir today, police said.
The tourists from West Bengal were on the way to Chandanwari, 16 kms from Pahalgam, when the SUV they were travelling in turned turtle, a police spokesman said.
The injured tourists were shifted to Pahalgam Hospital, spokesman said, adding a woman Impa Nag (44) was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital here for further treatment.
The 2,895-metre high Chandanwari, the first stop along the Amarnath yatra track, is girdled by high mountains with the Sheeshnag stream rushing through the small valley.
