"The entire area through which the procession will pass has been divided into five zones and 16 sectors and a sufficient number of security personnel have been deployed. Besides civil police, PAC, RAF, RRF have also been put on duty and over 1,600 policemen will keep an eye on the procession," said District Magistrate Rajshekhar.
The 10 "sensitive" points will be manned by magistrates and police officers with additional force and 10 quick response teams will be kept as reserves at five police stations, he added.
"For better coverage, 20 additional cameras have been installed, including at rooftop in sensitive areas. Besides, a video van will cover the entire procession," he added.
Ambulances and fire engines have been stationed at important and sensitive places, Rajshekhar said.
The district administration yesterday used drone cameras for surveillance in the old city area which revealed the presence of objectionable items in 28 houses.
The processions will take place tomorrow and on June 27.
