has been arrested in Odisha's Kendrapara district on charge of peddling Cannabis and opium.
Acting on a tip-off, accused Kulamani Mohapatra was arrested from his house at Kansara village under Kendrapara Sadar police station with the banned substances, said Excise Superintendent Purosottam Dharua.
"On a tip-off, the house of Mohapatra was raided and banned substances were recovered. The man had been peddling this narcotic drug for sometime and used to sell it to neighbours and whoever visited his house," the official said.
The accused was later remanded to judicial custody under Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) offences.
